Chianti
Straccali Chianti 2002 (Italy)
Producer:
Straccali
Item name:
Chianti
Wine type:
Red
Reviewer:
Tom DiNardo A great example of Chianti! The nose presents aromas of cherries, leather and green herbs. The palate is dry, strongly tannic, yet light bodied. Sumptuous flavors of blackberry, pencil lead, and herbs prevail. A long finish is to be expected and experienced. Decanting for a few hours is strongly recommended. This Chianti is perfect with Italian cuisine (red sauces) and also chocolate for dessert. From one Italian to another this is a good bottle of "Dago Red".

Andy Campbell This Chianti has full flavors of cherry, leather and currant notes, a great texture and a smooth finish without a bite that typical wines from Tuscany at this price have!
